Not an easy choice, but i picked Columbia. Born in SC, Cheap standard of living, SEC football
Knoxville- very easy standard of living and TENN football, not much else
Norfolk- good to go home again (grew up just north in Hampton) but crime and cost of living are going up
Spokane- West Coast Earthquakes? 4get it!!
Lexington- i'm moving to Louisville in 09 which kicks Lexington's butt
Providence- not a thing going for it
Reno- If it weren't in NV...
Providence is OKAY. Sure, it may have some nice homes and shopping is plentiful, but the crime and poverty there is terrible. Homelessness is also a big problem for the city. My vote goes to Knoxville.
i live in providence, and we don't have a problem with homelessness fyi. There is a lot of poverty, but thats on the outskirts of the city. Downtown Providence and the East Side are some of the most beautiful areas in the country.
Have any of you voting for Knoxville have actually seen it?
Obviously, because they've stated as much.

I spent years going there for business and thought it was God-awful...one of the homeliest cities in the south. It's location is about all it has going for it.
Spoken like somebody who doesn't know Knoxville very well.
Knoxville's a great place to live but you wouldn't want to visit (t)here.
I absolutely wouldn't want to live in Reno, probably not Norfolk. I could see living in the other cities if I could be gone during the cold or in the case of Columbia - hot spells.
