Out of the seven cities chosen at random, which city would you live in?

Providence hands down. It's really just so appealing to me.

Providence is OKAY. Sure, it may have some nice homes and shopping is plentiful, but the crime and poverty there is terrible. Homelessness is also a big problem for the city. My vote goes to Knoxville.

I have lived in Norfolk and visited Providence and Knoxville. I'd vote for Providence. Although, if Reno were anything like what you see in Reno 911, I might change my vote!

Columbia, South Carolina - Didn't like nearly as much as Greenville or Charleston
Knoxville, Tennessee - Liked what I saw driving through, close to mountains
Norfolk, Virginia - Never been
Spokane, Washington - Never been, but would like to
Lexington, Kentucky - I liked Lexington. College town, sweet country roads.
Providence, Rhode Island - Never been, but been to Newport.
Reno, Nevada - Never been, not interested.

Knoxville vs. Spokane vs. Lexington - hmmn. Which would I want to live in, my vote goes to Knoxville. I imagine it has the most moderate of weather, with plenty to do outdoorsy in both summer and winter. Plus, it still has entertainment like concerts.

Knoxville or Lexington, they are by far the two safest and most affordable. K'ville to me feels more like a city with 8 lane freeways everywhere, Lexington feels more like a big town. Lexington's downtown seems a bit more walkable to me, but K'ville has Lake Loudon/ TN River next to it

Lexington is surrounded by incredibly beautiful farmland, but has high taxes and really bad traffic. I would live in Woodford, Jessamine, or Scott Counties if I were moving there

Knoxville first then Lexington. I like the proximty to the Appalachians for Knoxville. Lexington has beautiful countryside.

The others don't really interest me. Maybe Spokane?

Have any of you voting for Knoxville have actually seen it? I spent years going there for business and thought it was God-awful...one of the homeliest cities in the south. It's location is about all it has going for it.
As far as the ones that I know on the list go, Columbia, Lexington, Providence and Spokane get a thumbs up.

I've been to all of those places and lived for awhile in Spokane. I voted for Knoxville because it has a good climate, a nice downtown area and has some very nice areas. The traffic is pretty bad and there's major construction on the roads though. Lexington is a very nice place as well.
