It is pretty obvious that Omaha is world class; I don't know why some people continue to argue this. Seriously, they have a CONVENTION CENTER!! Have you not read this whole thread?

I'm glad you mentioned the convention center, cuz i was about to rank Omaha at about 8 or 9, but yeah with the convention center it is definitely in the top 5... I'll put it #4, just behind NYC, London & Tokyo -- I think they still have slightly better nightlife than Omaha, but it is just a matter of time til Omaha surpasses them too. Yeah sometimes the truth hurts NYC, sorry.

Sir, I respect your opinion, but to put it bluntly, if you wish to place Scranton down around 15-20 I find it difficult to believe that you have ever been to Scranton. I did struggle with Scranton at 8 and Chicago at 9... maybe those should be reversed. But to put Scranton at 15 -- think about it. You would have to put Berlin and maybe Rio, Rome, Singapore, Buenos Aires, and San Francisco ahead of Scranton -- That is crazy talk. Perhaps, sir, you do not realize that Scranton also has a convention center.

touche... I will give you the new convention center and it's importance with regards to Scranton's overall global ranking. Apparently they have a triple A affliate of the Yankees which further ups their global standing. Still a bit of a stretch to put them in top 10, unless perhaps you include Hazelton in their metro sphere.
Im from Omaha... but have no idea what this is about since im new to this forum. I just choose to ignore it. I know where I come from and I don't need to prove anything to anyone.
