I only lived in Queens for hardly a year right after I was born there, but I don't see anybody doing it so I guess I'll put it up.

I heard some Christian radio host try to pronounce Gloucester recently. It ended up something in the vicinity of Gl-oww-chester, it hurt my heart.

1.You refer to Pennsylvania as "PA" (pronounced Pee-Ay).
2. You eat "frozen custard" instead of "soft ice cream" like the rest of the country.
3. You drink "Ahrn" if you're over 21 (Iron City Beer), eat chipped ham, and jumbo (baloney).
4. You know what a township, borough, and commonwealth is.
5. You've never referred to Philadelphia as anything but "Philly." And New Jersey has always been "Jersey," and the Atlantic Ocean as "the shore." Pittsburgh is "the Burgh" and you know it has an "H" on the end. Ah-hi-O (Ohio) is a few miles away.
6. The local paper covers National and International headlines on 1/4 page but requires at least six pages for sports. Sometimes sports news is on the front page.
7. You visit New York and notice how clean it is.
8. Your parents, brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles all live on the same block. (or did until they all moved the hell out of there)
