Bing . It's from those corporate bastards at Microsoft, but the maps work well in spite of their efforts.

Bing maps are way better than Google Earth. Google Earth needs to Update their stuff.

The latest Albuquerque image on Google was taken in 2004.
The latest Albuquerque image on Bing was taken in 2008.

I've been using Google Earth, Google Maps and MSN "bing" for different stuff.
Google Earth, and Maps can get pretty detailed around the world and rural US areas.
MSN: they can't get to close to rural areas or international, but for major urban areas, they can get pretty dang close, and one major thing that i've been using a lot is their "Bird Eye View" feature (only for major cities) you can actually see satellite pictures on an angle (not just looking straight down), so you can actually see windows, doors etc. and figure out how tall the buildings are, and how the buildings look like (it helps when u're looking up an address and have no idea how the building looks like).

Did you try Google "Street View"? It literally puts you on the street like you're walking down the street; and they are 360 degree photos. It by far gives one as close a view as any in terms of feeling like you've actually walked the streets.
