Here is the 4 possible things i see happening:

1. USA becomes most hi-tech nation.
2. Americans run across the mexican borders, to earn pesos to send home.
3. We don't exist a new country has taken our place.
4. Everyone is dead

You mean by attracting millions of new residents, attracting international business, and diversifying our economies. My southern roots are still as southern as ever.

The folks who are already Southern usually stay Southern. But the kids don't always become Southern. Then we just lose generations of Southerners.

Well, that does make sense, but every generation comes out a little bit diffrent than the ones before it, no matter what region you're in.
