A shame you're such a snob. For you're really missing out on some beautiful places.
Hey dude, I'm not a snob. It's opinion-based, and I've been to most of the 50 US states. There are few--if any--places I've been to in those states on the "no list" I prefer to live in.

Nah. A snob's a snob. I've been to all but four, and never been to a state that didn't have some seriously cool places. Arkansas has Lake Ouachita and the Ozarks, Alabama has Mobile Bay and Mentone, and the list goes on and on.
everybody thinks nebraska is just full of corn, well I was born and raised in lexington, ne and now i live in minnesota and i actualy see more corn fields in minnesota than nebraska and thier is a lotttttt of things 2 do in nebraska

I was looking at it as where I would like a vacation home. As far as a permanent residence, I probably would choose Albuquerque or Las Cruces instead.

What does it matter? I think Iowa is nice, but it is not exactly somewhere I would want a vacation home. If someone does not want to consider a vacation home in certain states, what difference does it make? It is an opinion, not really snobbery.
