My boyfriend and I want to move to a different state but have no idea what to do! We both agree that we want to go somewhere that has mild winters and hot summers(preferrably summers that wont be too humid). I would like to move somewhere that has a country feel but isnt too far from civilization i.e. a local walmart or mall is somewhere near by. We also need somewhere with good schools and hopefully a low crime rate. Does this sound like anywhere that you know of??!!

your LAST step should be asking everyone else's opinions. The first thing you should be doing is a ton of your own research. researching weather in other states, that you want, jobs, demographics, crime, etc...If you really are serious about moving away, it requires a lot more determination and hard work, than just asking people HELP?!

Maybe try Central or Western Virginia. Beautiful scenery and I think the schools aren't that bad there. Cities like Charlottesville, Lexington, Winchester, Harrisonburg, Blacksburg or outside of Roanoke, might be up your alley. Southern PA, Delaware, Western and Eastern Maryland might be some other areas to look in as well.

Seriously, anywhere west/southwest of Nebraska. I'd suggest the Denver area but they need more easterners moving there as much as I need another beer.
