As I travel through rural America I see alot of people who remind me of the charactor portrayed by "Larry the Cable Guy" The super redneck but good natured guy that is suppose to portray the typical American. What State has the most "Larry the Cable" Guys?
I'd say some place in the South for sure...like Tennessee, North Carolina, or Northern Alabama (where Appalachia begins). He has that kind of accent...Kentucky, West Virginia, and Virginia have light but nevertheless distinctive Southern accents. Larry the Cable Guy seems to have a heavier Southern accent then I've heard in those states. Certainly someplace in the Southeast. That kind of goes without saying.
You mean which state has the most people who actually grew up in Nebraska but poses as a southern redneck for laughs? I don't know, that is a tough one.
Yeah, the guy's a fake fatass who seriously gives America a bad name. I really hope there are no states with idiots like him. I lived in Columbus, Georgia for a period of time, and I can say I never ran into a fat ****tard like Larry the Cable Guy.

Unfortunately he's hailed as some sort of pop culture hero in my area, even though we're only two hours from Manhattan.

Oh wait, I was wrong, I just Googled him. He was raised in Nebraska until 16, then his family moved to West Palm Beach, FL. I guess he picked up that southern accent in the south Florida suburbs. LOL!
I can't stand that guy and I lose respect for anyone that finds him funny. I don't mind low brow humor if it is clever, but there is nothing clever about that idiot.
The same state that Carrot-top is representative of- the state of being unfunny.
