scratch that ... Washington is gorgeous! And WY, MT have some beautiful spots too ... the smokies are nice, but there is *nothing* quite like fall in New England. Ohhhh and Hawaii (minus the tourists) is nice! Guess I can't choose!

No. The areas with similar geography are very sparsely populated. A lot of Eastern Washington is at a lower elevation due to the Columbia while Eastern Oregon is up on a plateau. If Yakima were at a higher elevation, it would be similar to Bend.

Florida For me. Although there are some beautiful states. I'm not a fan of mountains or older built cities, as well as those pictures of streets with all those leaves everywhere, ugh there is a big mess in that neighborhood, thats severely unattractive. I love our beaches, open fields, beautified highways, neighborhoods, and rolling hills!

I guess it's just a personal biased cause I love how new and open everything is. The sunsets and sunrises here are AMAZING!!!!!! Lush tropical green, and swamps are not ideal but the way they fit into nature is beautiful. Natural springs we swim in are awesome because you don't feel like your in Florida, rather than a state out west. I just love the variety in this state, no mountains, but no big deal for me.

But you people have some beautiful pictures, I just don't like that mess in Michigan and mountains are too big lol.
California is beautiful and so is Michigan from those photos. From personal though, outside of Florida I liked Pennsylvania!

There are some STUNNING photos in this thread! I have to say, I love the United States and all of the diversity offered by each state. I'm DEFINITELY biased when I say Missouri because it was the first state I lived when I moved to the U.S. from Australia (I'm currently stuck in North Carolina, and can't WAIT to get back to Missouri at the end of the year!). So, here are some GORGEOUS Missouri photos. Enjoy
