That's ironic considering how many people I've run into who aren't from here and ARE from somewhere even further south, like Georgia, South Carolina and rural Virginia. They also seem oblivious to their state's role in history which affects their culture. I bet they'll tell me that there's no racism in MURRRLUN next even though Baltimore has the highest number of Nazi skinheads in the region. At least Virginia knows its stuck in the past.
You Murrrlun'ers are also BELOW the Mason-Dixon line. It looks like you all learned geography the southern way: not learning at all. I can tell the difference between a close northern city and state, like Philadelphia, PA and a southern one, like Baltimore, MD... or as the impoverished locals call it, Bloodymore, Murderland. Murrlun'ers also drive like Alabamians: no turn signals, and at two distinct speeds: POKE and ROLL. Some fool decided to stop on a hairpin turn to talk to people in an accident... that's on a busy freeway. Take out Baltimore and DC and Maryland becomes Mississippi.

This is the best post in this forum. Those wannabe New Yorkers crack me up. Im from New England and anybody from here will laugh in their face if someone said that Maryland was Northern

There we go again with people trying to take all these southern states out the south. If people keep doing this there will be no such thing as the south! These are southern states people.

@ MN55
lol what the...? XD
You may want to move the "southern line" up into southern NY just a little more. Then you'd have an apparently accurate map.
I love it! Good one.

New Englanders are the northern equivalent of deep southerners. You think your region is tiny and contained to what your specific culture resembles. Mainly because you're elitist.
Maryland isn't southern just because it's south of Connecticut, savvy?
And what do you mean by "wannabe New Yorkers" eh?

I does'nt matter what they think they... They can think the sky is falling for all I care and it won't change the fact that its not just like the fact is that MD is not a northern state.

I didn't realize that you were the one and only omnipotent creator of regions.
All hail hitek. For he obviously knows everything. And his one opinion is strong enough to over-rule the opinions of thousands! Ooooooh!
We will bring you tidings of salami. But to cement your God-hood, you must stand in a corner and close your eyes, not speaking to anybody ever again! I swear, we will totally worship you.
