The architecture certainly is different, that's for sure. The Midwest and Northeast have large, towering, Gothic style churches that appear castle-like, MUCH bigger than Southern churches.

Ever been to any of the "Mega-Churches" down here? I've seen blimp hangers that were smaller.

That's not what they look like in St. Louis, Chicago, Cleveland, or Pittsburgh. They are different in architecture and generally noticeably larger in area. They have much larger steeples, not typically ones that just have the bell hidden in that small steeple above the church pictured.

Haven't been to Georgia much in extensive detail. I know that the South is not devoid of gigantic churches, but they are typically not as large in structure as the ones you find in the Midwest and Northeast.

Here's the biggest church in my small Alabama town, it's pretty typical. The building on the left is used for Sunday school, get togethers, etc.

Yes. Those look like the churches we have here in Virginia too. Some of them look like banks, lol

We have one called Southeast Christian that some have called Six Flags over Jesus it is so big!
