How about if cities were cars?

New York City = Ferrarri (powerful, fast, expensive)
Los Angeles = Mercedes (popular, expensive)
Chicago = BMW (also popular, but not as much as Mercedes and Ferrarris)
Houston = Hummer (it has to be big and full of oil)
Dallas = Ford F250 (everythings big in Texas, and pickups are popular there)
Atlanta = Pontiac Grand Am (affordable, just needs some minor repairs)
Detroit = Old Ford from the 60's (past its prime then, needs major repairs)
Seattle = Jeep Cheerokee (popular in the 90's)
Portland = Toyota Prius (environmentally friendly)
Denver = Ford Escape (also environmentally friendly)
San Francisco = Corvette (popular with gays)
San Diego = Porsche (also expensive)

Would argue what's more interesting are cars used for daily commuting by affluent in major urban regions....

NYC is US' most laughably 3rd World region, where many w/$1MM+/yr incomes commute by sweaty/smelly subway/train....the $10MM+/yr crowd seems to favor scuffed-up Mercedes S550 sedans driven by some inept driver (they don't hand those jobs out to just anyone)...

SF/SiliconValley has many titans who drive selves via Mercedes S65 (or some other big AMG)...

BeverlyHills has many titans who drive selves/are driven around in S65s....

Chic (like NYC) has nasty winter weather (so 65s are non-useable some 6mos/yr)....and seems to have many who drive selves to office in Loop in Merc S550 4Matic from Winnetka/LF or the GoldCoast....

I think any city in Texas would have to be a truck.

Don't take these too seriously, just for fun. I wanted to do something other than just the lux cars that seem typical answers.

Houston: Fuel Truck

Dallas: Lifted Truck

Los Angeles: Taco Truck

NYC: Taxi

San Francisco: BMW Convertible for the gays

Denver: A 90's Saab. Decent in snow

Atlanta: Escalade with rims

Tuscon, AZ:
