Let's say that a friend from out of town is considering a move to your city. They ask you for some pictures to help them make their decision. Now, you can only send two pictures--one of your city's skyline and the other a picture of one of it's neighborhoods. Which two pictures do you send? What two pictures would sell your city?
Downtown Pittsburgh (I actually like the view from the Ohio better, but I can't find one):
Really it depends on what the friend wants. If they want a quiet family neighborhood, I may not show them a beautiful loft building. It's great, but it may not be what they want.

It really is more of a hypothetical. The story of the friend was simply meant to illustrate the point, which is: what two pics epitomize the beauty of your city.
Mission Viejo! Great place to raise a family. My kids have had a blast here windsurfing, kayaking, sailing, etc.. on the lake, surfing at the beaches 20 minutes away, great public schools, great shopping in the area, close to Los Angeles and San Diego, and good jobs. http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1304/...f5a4a9.jpg?v=0
Then the only skyline I can think of directly in this area would be Irvine Business District. I wouldn't normally show off the low rise skyline, but if the rules say so.... well then here it is. Really, there are things more interesting here than the skyline. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2268/...e6ecdd.jpg?v=0
