Well abut six years ago they relocated a hospital that has been in our city for many years. Where did they put it? Well on the north side of town, right by my apartment! We're one of the only bigger hospitals for communities about 30 miles around us. Ambulances about once every two hours, a bit more once the ski hills open. Also we have a heli-pad for a medical helicopter. Nothing like sleeping on a beautiful June night and being awakened by a helicopter landing near my apartment. Other than that it's peaceful.

I live 2 blocks away from a huge hospital in New Orleans so I hear them a lot but my neighborhood is pretty safe.

Many times a day. Live right next to an interstate, work right next to major highway. Sirens galore.

It's a seasonal thing here. There are more sirens, and tourists during the summer.
Winter tends to be quiet.
