I like the PA tag that doesn't have the gradient between blue and yellow. I think it says visitPA.gov on the back, I see at least 3 a day in NOLA

This is a excellent thread!
How come I never came up with this idea?!?

I've always enjoyed comparing licence plates...
A state can have more than one so I don't have any favorite sense I like some from different states.
I'll be back with some pics if I find any...

Every state has special plates that can be requested...I assumed this thread was asking for the general basic plate from each state.

Agreed. The newer design is simple but still looks nicer than the last one:

Pennsylvania State Colors

Arizona has a nice one so does Idaho, California's is boring and so is Utah's.

My vote goes for SC.
The worst license plate, however (in my opinion), is California.

I am aware; if you bothered to look at the post I was responding too, you would see it was in reference to a post asking about a plate that USED to exist.

Gee. I kind of miss the old "You've Got a Friend in Pennsylvania" license plates. I kind of like telling people I'm from Pennsylvania. NJ and NY transplants get an "Ugh" from people in other states, but we just get a shrug of the shoulders because nobody even notices we exist!
