Psh. Surprisingly, Moscow tops New York City by a landslide.
I wouldn't doubt that. I've never visited Moscow though (yet), and this was a thread about cities that we've been to. It's supposed to be a very nice (and very expensive) city.

LOL no kidding...my husband was there on business early this year and had the pleasure of paying $45 for a hamburger and fries. I wanted to tag along, but he said "sorry, I can't afford you."

The down side? Housing is ATROCIOUSLY EXPENSIVE! You can pay TWO mortgages for TWO nice homes here in Scranton, PA for what it would cost to rent ONE one-bedroom apartment in Manhattan. How can that be justified? How do the city's blue-collars survive? I'm content living here in Scranton where I can AFFORD to live comfortably while being just two hours from either NYC or Philly.
Yay! Love for my old neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights! You've got a good sniffer, ScranBarre...it is IMO one of the best places in NYC to live.

Two words: Staten Island.
