Anything around here is either stolen from far away (highland ranch) or the most mundane unimaginative names ever. Anything that's a noun with the suffix "wood" added to it; plain old southern this or northern that. Pitiful! Whereas I don't really care all that much, you would think that those developers would have some kind of an imagination or at least their wives or girlfriends (or boyfriends) would. They desparately need help, that's for sure.

North Highlands
South Highlands

One other odd one, it is a nice neighborhood in close-in Atlanta, but have seen it in other towns. The subdivision is Sherwood Forest and the Streets are Friar Tuck Lane, Robin Hood Drive, Lady Marian Way and Little John Trail.
Niceville's got a Sherwood Forest subdivision with similar names.
In Ft. Walton Beach, I actually rather like the neighborhood with the Sherlock Holmes street names (Baker, Holmes, Watson, and Moriarity streets all clumped together)
Alexandria, LA has a number of subdivisions that end with "Village"
Acadian Village
Cherokee Village
Four Leaf Village
Castle Village
Some unusual subdivision names in the area are Lebanon, Rue Left Bank, West Pointe on the Bayou, and Ocho Rios.
One neighborhood, Tennyson Oaks is comprised of streets which almost always end with the word "Oaks." For example, Moody Oaks, Taylor Oaks, Audubon Oaks, Windy Oaks, etc.
