What town are you in and how does the majority of the town feel. Also... How do you feel?

In my town in republican Idaho, mostly indifference. A local dj even mispronounced his name this morning.

I appreciate the historic significance of it and want him to do well so we do well.

I thought him messing up in the swearing in made him seem more... human then people project him as, but his speech was quite amazing, one of the best things I've ever heard.

I believe in him, after the wreck this country has been going through its awesome to have someone that is thinking of the country first.

Oxford, UK here and it is a truly Historic and wonderful day.

I think hundreds of millions people across Europe and the World will have watched the inauguration.

I watched the entire ceremony this afternoon and it was extremely moving.

Obama is a wonderful eloquent orator, and has charisma and I wish him all the best, he has a rather uphill struggle ahead of him and people's high and sometimes wholly unrealistic expectations will be a great burden upon his slim shoulders.

But I believe him to be an intelligent man with great probity and I do hope he proves himself an capable leader and a great President.
I feel everyone was an American today !

And what a speech, one of the best I have ever heard, inspiring, honest and to the point !

Calllm down fella, the only thing he's done thus far is get elected.

Time will tell if he is who he portrays himself to be. After the last 8 years, I'm going to have to see some results.

Exactly, those are going to be the people who are most disappointed when the 'honeymoon' is over.

Unless Obama comes equiped with a pointy hat and magic wand, don't expect over night change.
