In Nebraska its 75 on the interstate, 65 on expressway (4 lane with at grade intersections), 60 on most highways but 65 on more rural highways and 55 on paved county roads.
In NY, every county is subdivided into "towns", i.e., townships. Within the towns, settled areas are called "hamlets", or if they are incorporated, called "villages". Thus, East Aurora, is a village in the Town of Aurora, which is part of the suburbs of Buffalo. Never mind that 6,600 people live there and that it is a suburb in a large metro area, it is still classified as a "village".
Wow, I never knew that townships weren't as common as I thought.
Here in Columbia County, WI we have Cities, Villages, and what is considered a town is a rural area. A township encompasses 36 square miles. Even if you live in a township around here your mailing address is still a city or village.
I can't imagine going 75. That'd be real fast. Not saying I've never drove that fast before, but for everyone to do it.
In Indiana most Townships encompass 35-40 square miles. In Indiana there are only cities and towns

And if you live outside of town you live in a township your address is N1234 or W1234, some even go with E and S.
If anyone has a better title for this thread please let me know, and also let me know what level roads are in your state.
Speed limit on your interstates? Ours is 65 on all interstates. 55 on secondary highways and 45 on rural back roads.
Indiana has Interstates ( I-64,I-65,I-69,I-70,I-74,I-80,I-90 and I-94)(Spur routes- I-164, I-265,I-465,I-865, and I-469)) We have US and States Highways. Most County Highways have been eliminated although some counties in Eastern Indiana still have them.
Speed limits on roads:
Interstates: 70 mph in rural areas and 55 mph urban areas
US& State Highways: 55-60mph in rural areas
County Highways: 45 mph in rural areas and 35 in residental areas
In Indiana no matter where you live you are "claimed" by a town. your address would be EX: 1455 S CR 350 E or 1976 N CR 1100 W.
I live on an island, so no real interstates. Mostly parkways and expressways.
The expressways are mostly interstates. Here are some - maybe there are more. Roughly west end to East end.
Expressways
I-278 Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (Brooklyn, Queens)
I-495 Long Island Expressway aka The LIE (Queens, Nassau, Suffolk)
I-678 Van Wyck Expressway (Queens)
I-295 Clearview Expressway (Queens)
NY 27 Prospect Expressway (Brooklyn)
NY 135 Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway (Nassau).
NY 27 Sunrise Highway (Express Lindenhurst eastward) (Suffolk)
Parkways.
Shore Parkway (Brooklyn)
Jackie Robinson Pkwy (Brooklyn mostly Queens)
Grand Central Parkway (Queens)
The Belt Parkway (Southern/Laurelton) (Queens)
The Cross Island (Queens)
Northern State (Nassau, Suffolk)
Southern State (Nassau, Suffolk)
Ocean Parkway (Nassau, Suffolk)
Meadowbrook (Nassau)
Wantagh (Nassau)
Bethpage Parkway (Nassua)
Sunken Meadow/Sagtikos/Robert Moses State system (Suffolk)

I didn't think they were interstates since no highway on Long island connects it to another state, really just mainland NY.

I do not know about the Brooklyn-Queens expressway or the Van Wyck but I remember NY congressmen had to fight in Congress to get NY 495 (The LIE) switched over to I-495. Federal funds and aid were at stake!
