Wait a second... I thought the Northeast is dead, the jobs have dried up and everyone has flocked to the south?

It seems to me that the majority of those top 10 states are in the more northern region and not in the South.

^^Yeah, most people seem to think everyone is leaving here. Those who can afford it are staying (which is obvious with those ranks).

Bet those NY zips avg income goes down quite a bit now that there will be a cap on corrupt executive salaries

All those top 5 show that there is extreme income disparity in those cites. No one is impressed

Those are corporate Zip codes that only apply to one building. We were discussing it over on the NYC board. There's a tremendous amount on money in Manhattan, but those numbers are misleading.

I wouldn't mind being a doorman at one of those buildings. Those guys must clean up during the holidays.

How about the poorest? Maybe these wealthy counties can invest in charitable organizations to spur economic growth in some of the nation's poorest counties and spread some of the wealth around.

I'm not talking about socialism, I'm mainly speaking of greedy executives puting some of the "lower class" to work.

Not to forget, Washington.... Yay, very sure those salaries aren't funding by the withheld in our paychecks. They should be so proud. =)

This would be more meaningful if they weighed it against the cost of living. People in some places get paid more for the same job to offset the local cost of living.

By clean up I'm guessing you're referring to their chins?
