Alright so I made a thread recentley called "Move to the USA?". So I am wondering that if I did get the chance to move to the USA how would I get treated? What does Americans think of Europeans? Would I get less respect for being from Europe?

In no way am I bashing the US here, if I would get the chance to move there I would take it without a doubt.

LOL.. actually made me LOL!!!

I've never heard of anyone here discriminating against anyone from Europe.

I can't say the same thing about an American in Europe. Now that's a "Hmmm" moment.

As others have said, it depends on where you move. I would think that if you move to either coast in the US you would be fine. However, there are still some backwoods backward thinking people in the middle and southern parts of the country who have never traveled and just dont understand things.

You would be fine, in fact being European would probably make you very popular. People here our fascinated meeting different people... of course it may be less so where its more common such as NYC or LA.

When I went overseas I think a lot of people liked talking to me cuz I was american (at least in finland and sweden, in france.. not so much LOL)

I know when i spent alot of time over there people loved to make conversation with me or hear about Scotland, they loved my accent. It was kinda strange having all that attention, not that i disliked it but i know we're popular over there because so many Americans have Scottish ancestors and the like.

But you do get "some" that think they're way superior because they're American. Can't stand people like that no matter which country they hail from.

I think you will be fine though.
