If you are unemployed or working part time in a dead end position, would you agree to move to the worst town in America if they had a good job for you that offered good pay and great job security? Or are you not that desperate yet?

Probably not because the I like most cities in America so i would probably be ok.
Since the cities I dislike are San Fran, Phoenix, Miami, Orlando, LA and Vegas I probably will never have to worry about these cities having better opportunities anyhow

I'd say no. We never have moved to a place we didn't like for employment, so I don't think we'd start doing that now that my husband will be retired soon.

I absolutely DID NOT want to stay in boring, backwards Arkansas when I graduated college. I sent probably 150+ resumes to employers in major cities and didn't get one phone call, but got noticed fairly easily in my area. A huge time gap between graduating and employment looks horrible on a resume, plus I was under a lot of pressure from my family so I stayed here. Now I am hoping I get out somehow before I am 30.

No I'd stay where I am, go back to school so I could get a better position and have more control over my life.

Can't think of a better time to do so than now.

I live in one of the most depressed areas of the country and i'm unemployed. I have a pretty extensive work history and i just graduated with my BBA in Management. I would rather work for $25k here than move south like many of my peers. It's not that i absolutely hate the sunbelt or the SW part of this country, i just love where i'm from. The Youngstown area can't get much worse than it's gotten over the past 30 years, so if it's going down i'm going with it. Besides, i can always find a job in Akron, Cleveland, or Pittsburgh and make the 45 min to 1 hour commute like many of my friends and neighbors.
