Hi all,
I am going to school to be an Elementary Teacher. I am a male, and love working with kids. My fiancee and I are looking at graduated December 2010 and are pretty much willing to move anywhere. We go to school in St. Augustine, FL right now. I would like to teach in a more stable area, open to urban/suburban areas, but would prefer something in a smaller city than in the heart of a city. A county that pays well, has good benefits, and maintains good relationships with their teachers is a huge part of where I want to be and teach! any advice or ideas are awesome, helpful, and very appreciated!!!
Rome, Georgia schools were number one in the state last year. Love to keep it that way! Feel free to ask me about the community. I have two boys in the public schools now, and I know Georgia is facing a teacher deficit of around 14k in the next nine years.
