I guess my point was that KY is included in most South categories, while Virginia is usually left out. They are both parellell to each other- so if its geography, I dont see why VA is Mid-Atlantic, while KY gets to be in the South.

Here's a thought: because Kentucky is not on the Atlantic coast and Virginia is.

See the map I posted earlier. VA is South Atlantic, not Mid-Atlantic.

Okay, but I was trying to get into the Southern Artists Network- and they include Kentucky, but they told me they dont cover Virginia. I would have to contact the "Mid-Atlantic" region for that.

Well, it said Mid-Atlantic. Virginia is on the Atlantic. Kentucky is not.
