Well if I HAVE to choose one of these, I guess I'll go with Boone...it's the closest one to Kali and I love NC.

If I could choose my own it would be Alexander City or Talladega, Al.

Nothing from Pennslyvania? In this size range we have Williamsport, Lock Haven, Bloomsburg, Sunbury, Puxatawny, Indiana, Lewistown, and a few others. Even if all these were on the poll, I would probably pick Burlington, VT. I've been there once and it seemed like an extremely nice place. I'd love to try it out!

Technically, Burlington and Bangor are classified as metro, but serve as regional center towns for a larger area.

Taos or Cañon City. Both are western towns in very scenic locations, two qualities that are attractive.

Jackson, WY all the way! Can't beat having Grand Teton and Yellowstone Nat'l Parks in your back yard! Burlington, VT is a close second, though.

Probably Jackson. I'm not crazy about Canon City at all, and Durango is isolated (though so is Jackson).
