I'm currently in Wichita Kansas and have been visiting some warmer places and doing reconnaissance for my planned relocation.

Here are my current considerations:
1. Las Vegas Nevada
2. Austin Texas
3. Orlando Florida

I'd like to make sure I'm not missing any awesome places. Here are my needs.

1. Mild winters
2. Technology jobs
3. City isn't too big (Houston, LA, etc)
4. Must be able to play ice hockey and ideally go to semi-pro games

Thanks in advance.

Not sure you will find much hockey or ice rinks in any of the places listed.

Your 4th category eliminates Vegas and Austin. Won't have hockey there.

Granted Orlando isn't anything close to a hockeytown, but with the Lightning right down the road and the large number of transplants in Florida, hockey certainly does exist here.

Austin is getting a team and Las Vegas has a semi pro team called The Wranglers. But I'm really looking for other cities I should consider.

Doesn't Seattle have mild winters? And you are not too far from Vancouver, Canada.

Austin? oh wait you put that. yeah Austin!
and San Antonio has a hockey team, the Rampage, which is only an hr south on I-35
Lots of Tech jobs, and South Central Texas has very mild winters- anything below 60 is like freezing to us... it hasn't snowed in San Antonio since 1985 and snow in Austin isn't that much more frequent
