I think if he follows up to his plans the US will be ok. However what scares me is the budget that we owe. He took a big loan from other countries to help pay for the war. That is what scares me.

Doesn't this belong in the politics forum? Folks here would rather trash other cities and states.

No, I don't think Obama is going to be a great president. The next four years is just going to be a time to endure and hope that the next time around the people will make a better choice. Socialism is not good for the USA.

He's done fine so far, considering the complete and utter mess that he's inherited. In a short space of time, he has also worked wonders at rebuilding our relations with the rest of the world.

Socialist? Has he nationalized anything yet? No...so at this point, he's not socialist.

Well, I like Mr. Obama, but he inherited a bunch of issues.. I'm not really sure. I like the man, but his spending policy is no good. I'm not sure how history will judge him.

We will all have to wait and see on that. It's ambitious, different....I just hope that it at least kick-starts the economy, but if it doesn't, he's going to be judged badly.

Yes, it does. Normally I would transfer it there, but, since there have already been a dozen threads very similar to it there, I can assure you the mods there will squash it ASAP, so sorry.... but....
