I'm moving to the Deep South. In any case I've never enjoyed the city anyway.
Welcome. But be warned. We have millions of Hispanics/Latinos. Probably quadruple or more than the official census count. And no law agency is in any hurry to deport them.
I was extremely saddened to learn of the death of the director of "A Christmas Story" and his son thanks to an illegal alien drunk driver who will just be sent south of the border and be back the next day. I'm all for diversity, but not when people come here, ignore the law and can get away with it, thanks to our bureaucracy. Don't get me started!
I find it interesting that people claim that an all white area is boring. Being white myself, I really don't appreciate being called boring for my skin color. Especially by a white person that is so ignorant.
I notice that there is a type of ongoing dialect among people that support multiculturalism. They "see past" or "look beyond" this diversity as if they have some genetic enhancements that we lowly toothless racist pigs couldn't even dream about. Has anyone ever asked WHY there is so much racism in diverse places? and I mean wondered and really thought about it...
For example: Say there there is a high school with a large percentage of minorities. The solution that is brought down upon the district is for the white students to accept these other races, both sexually and emotionally. And if one does not...then they are labeled racist both by the minorities and by the white followers! This pseudo-solution to abolish "hate" is crap. The solution, in a forced multicultural society, is to separate the races. ESPECIALLY our young children!
I've also noticed that white people, living in upper class neighborhoods or out of the way places like the country side, seems to think that diverse places are just great. This is a ignorance obviously.
I'm insulted when I hear things like the "civil rights" movement!!! Civil rights are HUMAN rights, not black rights! The black community started a black power movement in the 50's-60's and stood behind the moral curtain of human rights. As if to say that white humans hate black humans and ALL humans are the same. Well, if this was true then why are the streets filled with black activist threatening cities if they aren't given special treatment? (affirmative action..etc etc)
I'm sure after reading my post I seem racist. I am a racialist and a realist and I am against forced multiculturalistic societies. People are so hell bent on changing people to think like them. Ignorant fools being the greatest enemy of knowledge are convinced by the more influential that diversity is better. Where did this way of thinking come from? Just think about it.
Note to some: I'm white, not a "clan member" or "skin head". I have black AND mexican friends. They all know where I stand and respect me for it. (ptristan66@gmail.com)
I've never lived in a "Spokane like place", but wouldn't that make everything kind of the same?
Food, shopping and experiences become limited. Wouldn't it make the group ignorant of outsiders?
I think that interacting with different cultures helps lowers ignorance toward them and helps raise tolerance to the things you don't like. It only becomes a problem when they began to segregate and stop interacting. I'm sorry I can't live in an area where a single group makes up 90% of the population.
I prefer to live among people like myself.
I know people of every ethnic background and they have expressed the same sentiment to live around people like their own selves.
I find there is a lot of diversity within my own ethnic group anyway.
Freedom of association should be a natural right that we all can enjoy.
I live in a mostly black city. It's mind shatteringly boring with extremely little variation on the day to day. I don't see how anyone could stomach it.
Then again, I'd bet I'm younger than most people here.
I find it interesting that people claim that an all white area is boring. Being white myself, I really don't appreciate being called boring for my skin color. Especially by a white person that is so ignorant.
It's not that an area is all White that makes it boring, it's that it's all anything. But, since this is a 60-70% White country, more often than not you find all White cities rather than all anything else.

Accept them...sexually? What? I don't remember the last time I've gone to a school and demanded to be sexually accommodated.
From here you just get even more unintelligible, so I'll quit while I'm ahead.
Hmmm...interesting question...I prefer to live in a town that is not financially diverse, so that usually limits the races/ethnicities...but it's not b/c of race that I prefer that. It just happens to work out that way.
