NOTE:

These numbers are AVERAGE annual sunshine (Which includes both Clear/Sunny and Partly Cloudy days), and not only 100% sunny. Partly Cloudy is still sunshine, that's why it's included.
So even if you for example think that Seattle has less sunshine than 164 days a year, remember it's AVERAGE, which means it could be much lower or much higher from year to year.

As I mention, that's average number, so it could be both slightly higher or slightly lower from year to year.

I'd prefer to have about 290 days of sun but I only get a few days more than Seattle does of sunshine.

Give me 250-275 sunny days a year, then let it rain like Hell the rest of the time.

On average, no there is no city that does.

But the record is 768 consecutive days of sunshine...... where else but the Sunshine State.... St. Petersburg, FL

~250 is probably good enough. If we never had any those wet, rainy miserable days here and there, I'd never get any housework or cleaning done!

I think I see maybe 5-10 days a year when the sun isnt out ALL DAY, even when we get rain its sunny all day then the clouds come along with the rain and then the sun is back out after.

I don't know if it's still the case, but it was the policy of the St. Petersburg Times to give out their papers gratis on a day when the sun never shined once.

I love the sunshine! I do enjoy a nice thunderstorm from time to time however. I do NOT like thundersnow showers - when you have thunder and SNOW instead!
