LOVE Milwaukee (great city, one of my faves, just insanely cold in winter!)

Of course, I have to chime in with the other big brew city, St. Louis!

It's a very affordable cost of living AND there are some great restaurants, pubs, bars and clubs for night time carousing. Cabs are cheap compared to most cities and there are no PI laws in St. Louis, a nice plus (so I hear!) in case you celebrate too much, get lost trying to walk home and happen to meet a friendly police officer. (Oops!)

Also, there are several clubs on the Illinois side (Metro East) that stay open 24 hours. The hardcore will close down St. Louis City (either 1:30AM or 3:00AM depending on license/location) and then jump across the bridge to continue partying... Kind of rough over there - only for the die hards.

Detroit's got casinos, and you could probably shoot up a vacant house for fun. Also easy access to drugs.

Houston, Louisville, Dallas, Atlanta, Austin, Denver all have great nightlife and are relatively affordable

Tampa is affordable, but the nightlife is not going to be like the larger cities I wouldnt think.
