What are the most impressive cities from an airplane? Huge or Tiny. It could be just based on the urban built environment or just because the city has beautiful landscapes and backdrops and any combination in between. Feel free to post pictures and videos of the city from the skies!

Seattle is incredible from a fly-in standpoint, but this view is a northbound approach, and after Rainier becomes quite average.

The better view is a southbound approach where you fly over the most of the entire city, with either great views of Puget Sound or Lake Washington, and depending, downtown. Unfortunately, the SB approach often comes with cloudy weather.

It's amazing, but it's not a city. What's next? The Grand Canyon or Niagra Falls?

OK, but Seattle SB provides impressive views of downtown Bellevue on the left, and usually right over the top of downtown Seattle to the right.

Flying into Chicago from over the lake.

SF Bay Area, blue water, hills, the GG Bridge.

Coming into Reagan from the south, fly directly up the middle of the Potomoc.

I just changed the wording of the sub topic, I didn't make it clear enough. I apologize.
