You won't get a damn about anything going on around you. You will not vote for any local seats or issues. You will not give a damn what happens to "your" community or "your state". Basically, you walk around like a zombie oblivious to everything around you. That is how you survive. When you want to leave, or never wanted to be there in the first place, the first opportunity you get
to go you will. You will never put down any kind of roots in a place you don't want to be.
"Your" state may call you their citizen, but without any of the above things, you may as well be a million miles away.
That is so true what you are saying, because I live in VA and I do not care who gets elected for mayor here or anything. If someone speaks down on VA, I won't care neither. So yeah, this is a gret post.
City-Data already collects data on the most active forums, etc. The only thing relevent about this poll is who spends their time in the General US forum.
Texas is overrepresented in this poll. It is only 6.5 percent of the US population but 11.4 percent of voters in the poll. There are two explanations. 1) people are not voting honestly or 2) Texas is actually somehow disproportionately present on this site. Which is most likely do you think?
