it's going to be an amazing city in the near future.

Others would be Buffalo and Pittsburgh

A Mid-sized city is probably any city with a population between 250k-500K.
500K-1million is a big city, than comes 1million+ which is a mega city.. Well at least that's the way i'd categorize it.

IMO it's better to compare cities by their metro sizes.
