is new york even in the same league as anyone in america? they have the most bold/manly accents out of anyone outside of germany!!

IMO:
Dallas comes in first! <--- they've got that gritty sound to 'em.
2nd goes to New York/Bos <-- Ya they sound the same to me... but it's def that italian street type of guy I picture.

LOL i'm going to laugh if someone says LA. Ooo And you should have put Minneapolis, well, I guess that's the same as Chicago really, but I'd like to see if anyone put that. When I picture the Minneapolis/up north/chicago accent, I picture a guy with a fishing hat on, big glasses, binoculars around his neck, shorts above his knees, and long socks... oh and a bird identification book in hand. ha.

(wow people are going to think im so weird after that )

I agree, Dallas first (all those manly cowboys) then New York.

But I wouldn't discount Chicago, either. I still have visions of those old SNL sketches of Bill Swerski's Chicago Superfans as they glorified Mike Ditka. Heck, even the women in those sketches sounded manly.
