Seattle has the best summers imo. By far the most comfortable summers I ever experienced. I have never had a/c, window unit or central. Very little rain, if any at all.
I know how you feel. I could never live down south. Anything over 80 degrees is too hot for me. I live in southeast Michigan. We can get some really hot days (over 90) but the past couple of summers have not been too bad. At least it usually cools off at night.
Our winters are mild for the upper Great Lakes. it rarely goes below 10 degrees for very long and there have been winters I only used my snow shovel 3 or 4 times all season.
I love taking my summer vacation in Ontario and/or Quebec. Besides beautiful scenery and awesome cities the summertime temps are generally in the 70s during the day and 60s (sometimes lower) at night.
