I have seen two "master planned communities". Daniel Island in S.C. and Lakewood Ranch in Florida, both I thought were pretty neat for the so called "master planned community".
These two communities both had medical offices, schools, churches, sidewalks, golf, tennis, and more. The houses seemed walkable to places. I saw people out biking and walking.
Have you seen any of these type communities that you have liked, and where have you seen them?

I live near Lakewood Ranch...to me it feels too sterile and like a gated community, but without the gates.IMHO.
