It seems like many county appraisers are not taking the recent decline in housing when considering assessed value for obvious purposes.

So, do you think your county appraiser has valued your home too high?

There is one neighborhood in Jacksonville where all recent sales have been between 60 to 70k but the appraiser refuses to appraise it less than 110k, the approximate purchase price of the property when first build 3 years ago was 140k.
