There are so many unique and fascinating places along this great river. What is your favorite?

My two favorites would have to be Dubuque, Iowa and Natchez, Mississippi!

Mississippi has another famous small river city besides Natchez. Don't forget about Vicksburg!

I'm gonna have to go with Hannibal, Missouri. Real old but neat looking town with some big hilltop views of everything.

Twin Cities FTW. Dubuque is a pretty cool place to hang out for a day though. I like the terrain there and how it shapes the city's layout. It's like a miniature Pittsburgh, complete with its own funicular.

Hannibal was a big disappointment. Very Small "historic area" downtown surrounded by poverty.
