I typically refer to it as Hampton Roads but recognize all of the usages.

If that light rail system really gets built, it looks like Norfolk will end up being the main hub. Pretty sweet.

Do you have any neat pics of the area? Especially mixed-use rowhouse-y streets?

In all seriousness, though, I love this area. I haven't been there in a while, but from everything I've heard about the area it is one of the best examples of a metro area in the United States growing the RIGHT way.

Yes I am aware of that area and I have heard of all the cities except for Tidewater.................how about Scranton/Wilkes-Barre????
