The zip for the address where my wife grew up has a population of 2,247 in 156.3 sq mi - and said address is 17.26 road miles from the post office.

Now we live in a zip with 18,826 ppl in 28.1 sq mi - moved to the city I guess!

Mine is 11,600 in 3.6 square miles. Where I grew up... 17,000 in 22.8 square miles....but the urbanized area is far smaller landwise, about 3 sq. miles.
