I knew some people would start crying when I saw this thread, and I guess I was right.
New rules: No saying you would not live in Atlanta or NYC. It's apparently wrong to dislike those cities and people will complain about it because you can't have your own opinion.
C'mon guys. Stop acting immature. I live in DC and love it, but someone posted that they lived there and would never choose to again. FINE with me. If everyone had the exact same opinions about everything as me and the same personalities then this would be a messed up world. haha Not everyone will agree with you. It's called being an "INDIVIDUAL". Okay, I'm done now. haha
I wouldn't want to live in most sun belt cities. Not a huge fan of the sprawl.
Out of the ten and overall in USA cities in general Atlanta would be one of the cities I would never live in. Ofcourse I would find it interesting to visit one day, but not to live.

Well, with 50,000 people every square mile, what do you expect it will smell it? We're the largest city in the country and by far the most dense.
Long Island is the size of the state of Rhode Island. I am curious, what part of Long Island is the major city you would not live in?
No offense, LINative - but none of it, to be honest.
Too isolated for me. If I was to end up in the metro, it would probably be Northern New Jersey.
It's the leaving/returning from anywhere else that really turns me off, having that shlep through the City to get anywhere.
That, along with the provincialism of quite a large part of the population - you certainly being the exception to this.
