Well PSU is a drinking town with a football problem, if you drink enough you forget that there was no National Championship since '86, though we got robbed in '95 (if only Paterno announced retirement that year no one would cared that Osborne retired and handed them the championship) At least i am not sour.
I have the following list of American schools. I would like that you sort the list taking account party school, girls, close to medium-big cities (with several clubs or discos), safety... I know there are some other better schools, but I just want to sort these schools. I don't need you sort the whole list, just those schools that you think are ok.
The list is the following one:
- Eastern New Mexico University
- Florida State University
- Lenoir-Rhyne University
- Michigan Technological University
- Montana State University
- New Jersey Institute of Technology
- New Mexico State University
- North Carolina State University
- Oklahoma State University
- Texas State University - San Marcos
- Troy University
- University of Arizona
- University of New Mexico
- University of Oklahoma
- University of Texas at El Paso
- University of Texas at San Antonio
- University of Wisconsin System
- University of Wisconsin-Madison
I add some Canadian schools:
- Brock University
- Langara College
- Mount Royal University
- Selkirk College
- University of Manitoba
- University of Regina
Thanks.
You said discos so you must be European, no? Some schools not on your list but I know about, University of Idaho in Moscow, small college town 18 frats and 14 sororities, pretty crazy school, only 12,000 students so it doesn't usually make lists. It is about an hour from Spokane, Wa, so there's a decent sized metro with "discos".
Then there's Boise State University, no real campus life besides social activism, but down the street from about fifty bars... or discos hahaha.
My sister went to Rutgers-New Brunswick
She had to transfer because the partying was such a distraction... I myself would love it
I'm hoping the SUNY at Albany will have its fair share of parties.
Don't worry, you will have your share of parties on campus and off campus. Then, you can hit up the Center Square/Lark Street area too: Lark Street BID :: Welcome
A note about "party schools":
If you are a dork and you go to a party school, you're still a dork that happens to attend a party school. You won't automatically transform into a ladykilling, beer-chugging, party machine. So you won't be able to really get the full experience of a party school.
Only you know yourself well enough to know whether or not this is the case. But if you are a dork, don't have unrealistic expectations out of a party school. Instead, find a school that caters more to that kind of lifestyle, and at this school you will find people that you can party with more appropriately.

Haha brutal honesty is awesome. That reminds me of Revenge of the Nerds.
But its a great point the douche bags in high school that got the chicks are the douche bags in college that got the chicks.
If your not a douche, try for intellectual hippy to get laid, it works four times out of ten, but better than straight nerd. Oooorrr lower your standards, anyone can get laid really.
