The Forgotten Borough (nickname doesn't really hold as much weight anymore)

Manhattan:
The City

Queens:
The Crescent Borough (It extends North, East, and South of Brooklyn in a crescent shape)
Q-Borough

Queens is heavily "neighborhood" focused unlike the rest of the boroughs so it has few nicknames for just Queens.

Queens Neighborhoods:
South Jamaica, Queens = Southside (That's where I live)
Far Rockaway, Queens = Far Rock or The Rock
Hollis, Queens = Northside

I know there's more for Queens (and its neighborhoods).

Newark: (Only like 5 miles west of Manhattan and 2 miles northwest of Staten Island)
Brick City

This is just off the top of my head, I know there's more for all of NYC.
Great post. Rep points to you.

The City is what I've called SF my whole life.

People I know call Oakland The Town most frequently these days-as far as nicknames go.
