I live in South Jamaica, Queens (NYC) and the main reason I want to move is because of the weather, I despise Fall & Winter. The area has nothing going for itself, 95% of the stores are old (a lot haven't changed since the 70's & 80's), no new businesses are moving in. Crime & cleanliness is also a factor, I'm not too big on hearing gunshots almost every night in the Summer or slipping on plastic bags/paper/etc. The schools are poor, grocery stores aren't great at all, etc.

Right now I'd love to move to the Tampa Bay Area. Jacksonville or Atlanta are okay as well.

I currently live outside of Los Angeles(about 20 minutes away from downtown by car). I came here not by choice but because my parents wanted to bring my brother and I to a place with a better quality of life. I have been living in S. CA since 1983. I don't currently hate it now but back in 2006 I was fed up with my current location because of the urban sprawl, high cost of living and I was frequently thinking that most people in S. CA are mean, violent, uneducated and idiotic. The truth is there are good and bad people everywhere and that is what it is. Now I have learned to accept things as they are. True, L.A. is still expensive and it is sprawled out but that's just a fact of life here. Would I move away if I could? Sure I would just to experience something different but for now I feel that I have to stay because of family obligations even though my parents want me to live life for myself. The US economy now is not very stable so moving anywhere in the US now is risky. Now, I actually like L.A. enough to stay a while. Do I love it? I don't think so but I also don't think its a horrible place.

I live in Denver. I'm content in Denver (primarily due to circumstance), but if given more of a choice, it isn't where I'd be. There's nothing wrong with Denver per se, except that it isn't all that pretty. It also has a few other annoying "qualities".

I'll be moving back to Spokane, WA/North Idaho as soon as I'm financially viable, or as soon as I get fired, whichever comes first. I told my boss that today.

I don't hate NYC. I just want to try something different so after college I plan on going west to Los Angeles or San Diego. I'll most likely be back unless I like it out there to much.

Live in NYC. I love it here. I think its the greatest city in the world. I would, however, Liketo have a house to escape to in southern california. Fortunately I have family in Santa Barbara. Beautiful.

I love NYC, but in college I studied abroad in Buenos Aires and I would love to move back there for a year or two.

I like where I live, but I could spend a couple of years in the Pacific NW and I wouldn't mind spending a year in New Orleans.

and the main reason I want to move is becaues of the weather. I dispise YEAR ROUND SUMMER. My area has NOTHING to do except things associated with warm weather. Phony weather with tourists, retirees, and snowbirds. The schools are horrible. I work in the schools.

I want to go back to New York, but if not there, New Jersey, Pa., Ct., Vt., Me, or anywhere in New England would be fine.

The last thing I want to be as a Senior is to die in this miserable state of Florida.

I live in Va right now and it awful here. VA lacks diversity, culture, too slow, people do not know how to drive. Everything overall is awful. I want to move back to NYC. Nothing compares to NYC.

The ironic thing is of course that more people than not would take Florida over New Jersey/New York in a heartbeat. Moving trends have shown this for many years now. No one wants to retire in the Northeast.
