Ok, here are some maps of British-American ancestry:
English - Appear to be most common in upper New England, Upstate New York, Chesapeake Bay area, and the Northwest. Utah has the darkest region, so it would appear most Mormons are primarily English stock.
Scot-Irish (i.e. Scots via Northern Ireland) - Appalachia, Western PA, and the Northwest
American Ancestry - These people are most likely of primarily Bristish ancestry, but just consider themselves ethnically "American." Seems to be mostly a southern phenomenon
That's interesting but I don't think the OP is talking about people with British/English ancestry - I think she's asking about actual British Citizens residing in the US.
Yes I'm actually looking for British/English citizens who have moved to the US within the last few years
Well I think you are going to be disappointed because no place in the US is going to have a strong British immigrant presence, much less have a majority British population. Like others have said there is a British community that exists in Santa Monica, but even there they are not all that common compared to the general population.
The presence of people who moved from the UK to this side of the world is stronger in Canada than in the US. So in places like Victoria, BC you will run into alot more British people (but not a whole lot either). Though not significant but more likely to hear British accents than in the US definitely.
If I remember the area around Kissimee, Florida has a sizeable population. Is there much data that be figured out to seperate people of similar ethnicity or race by if they are immigrants or first-generation or citizens whos ancestors have lived here for generations?
