Windansea Beach in La Jolla about 3 miles from my house, I go to this one the most often:

The closest beaches here in Arizona are Rocky Point (near the Mexico border) and Lake Havasu.

But to a "real" beach would be in San Diego (about 6 hours away from Prescott, Arizona).

An hour and a half west of Portland we have the Oregon Coast... Here are Ecola State Park and the Boardwalk in Seaside.

Too Bad the waters usually to damn cold to swim in comfortably even in the summer

Here are some of the beaches that will be within 90 minutes or so of my new house in Coral Gables, FL. I hope to move in by late spring/summer. I was in Florida last December, it was really amazing, it was sunny and in the upper 70’s . The turquoise Atlantic was 79 F a few days before X-Mass. I love Florida beaches!!

There's a couple dozen beaches in the city, but I normally only go to the handful I can walk to from my house and work.

I would say the best beaches are the ones in Michigan though. Less crowded, warmer water, more beautiful.
