My friends play it here in Minneapolis. Croquet and Bocce Ball are more popular with them than "bags" or ladder golf. We'll play the latter if we're drinking all day, which is just rare, nowadays (since most of us are married and some of us have kids).
The only yard games I use to play arn't really yard games. Football, frisbee, dodge ball, wrestling, vollyball, and various other made up games. I just realized how much I miss being a kid . I have played bocce ball and horseshoes in my yard a couple of times but they wern't as fun.
I guess some people might get a laugh out of the name by thinking of it in a different way but it is just a variation of a bean bag toss only where it came from they grow a lot of corn and used that in the bean bags instead of beans.
Ha, thanks for the explanation.
I've only ever heard the term used to mean you know what.
Does anybody play croquet anymore? It was pretty much a staple at our family reunions growing up in IN/MI
When we have some parties I set op the mega-monster croquet course. 3 croquet sets over an acre with obstacles.
Usually takes a few hours for one game.
make sure you have plenty of beer.
