Growing up in California, croquet was one of my favorite games and we played it all the time. I bought a set for my children when they were younger (lived in Texas then) and they never showed an interest in it. After about 20 years, I sold it on ebay for about $150.00.

A lot of bags up here, followed by ladder ball(at college it was called testicle toss) and then we play bocce ball and washer toss. I enjoy frisbee golf but you can't really play on your lawn

Yeah when I was a kid me and my cousins had this game. You'd get two bases usually cars parked 30-50 feet apart parallel to each other. Someone would stand in the middle with a ball. Everyone else would be touching a base. The person with the ball would throw it up, and everyone else had to run to the other base. When the person caught the ball after throwing it they'd throw it at the people who were running and weren't on base. Amazingly we never damaged any cars playing this.
