Let me begin by writing,I'm so glad I found this forum.
I am looking to relocate to CO, probably Colorado Springs, Im not 100% yet but that the location my wife and i are leaning towards. First order of business is selling my house here in PA(thats not a big deal). Then off we go. I have 3 kids and 3 dogs and the whole family is really motivated to make the big move. My wife is a nurse and with those jobs always being in need i am sure she will land something pretty fast. I am a veteran and I'm preparing for trying out to be a police officer. I am looking for any insight, advice on my situation as far as locations in CO, the school systems etc. . I have lived in PA for most of my adult life. We did a tour in Germany back when the Iraq war started so leaving family behind is a huge deal for us. I guess what i am looking for is a boost of confidence :-D. Well thanks ahead of time for your 2 cents.
Colorado Springs to Denver to Boulder to Fort Collins is a great area. I moved to Denver metro from NY and love it. Lots of Easterners out here. I don't think I'd be unhappy living near either of these areas. We're big sports and outdoors fans and couldn't be happier. Great people, great weather, lots to do. Wherever you choose these 4 cities are all pretty close (max 3-4 hours apart). I haven't been to pueblo yet but I think that too is only an hour or 2 past COS.
